Rottweil, 1st. December 2009 – Piecha Design has taken on the T-model of the Mercedes C-Class with AMG styling and has given the mid-range station wagon a sporty appearance. A new chrome radiator grille with two slats is used at the front. There are also glued-on headlight covers and a front spoiler lip. LED daytime running lights can also be integrated into the front apron.
Diffuser in three versions
The rear is upgraded by a diffuser insert, which is available in three surface finishes: once in a black-structured version, coated in silver-carbon or in the classic black-carbon version. A four-pipe exhaust system that costs 398 euros is supposed to provide a sonorous sound. For all six-cylinder models there is also the option of installing the original C63 AMG exhaust system at a price of 1890 euros.
Improved driving performance
In order to improve the acceleration of the C-Class T-Model, Piecha Design has developed a so-called power converter. This is intended to improve start-up, responsiveness and pulling power. Shifting from the upper gears should also be faster and more sporty. As a positive side effect, the tuner also promises lower fuel consumption. The power converter is available for 429 euros.
