Sony has reloaded the Xperia 5: Xperia 5 II is the first Sony smartphone with 120 Hz display. Apart from the smaller screen, it is otherwise almost identical to the Xperia 1 II – but comes with a 300 Euro lower EIA in the trade.
With a coarse of 15.8 × 6.8 centimeters, the Xperia 5 II for a high-end smartphone remains at least some mamming compact. As with the process Sony sets a 6.1-inch OLED screen – but with a higher refresh rate of 120 Hertz. In contrast to the Xperia 1 II, the Xperia 5 II comes "only" with FHD + resolution, which still ensures sufficient sharp presentation on the smaller screen.
Greater battery, no Qi loading
Sony has worked on one of the few weakes of the first edition: the battery capacity has grown from 3140 to 4000 mAh and was allowed to provide for more long runtime – at least at 60 Hertz. Also a jack is on board this time. Furthermore, users of the smaller Sony Highend Gerat must refrain from wireless loading – unlike the gross brother. In the housing frame Sony has housed a button that activates the Google Assistant. To prove the button with another function is not possible.
The camera of the Xperia 5 II is largely identical to that of Xperia 1 II (exporting camera test of Xperia 1 II), only the TOF sensor is missing. To cover different focal lengths, the smartphone works with three cameras. The main camera forms an image angle of 82 degrees, which corresponds to a small picture-aquivalent focal length of about 24 millimeters. The bezel opens to ƒ / 1.7. Sony relies on its 1 / 1.7 inch CLOSE EXMOR-RS chip.
The main camera joins a module with small-picture-aquivalent focal length of 70 millimeters (image angle: 34 degrees) and a light-color of ƒ / 2.4. The chip used is 1 / 3.4 inches roughly. With a small picture-aquivalent focal length of 16 millimeters, the third module covers a particularly coarse image angle (124 degrees). His light cars lies at ƒ / 2.2, as a sensor serves a 1 / 2.55 inch gross EXMOR RS chip.
Highend-SOC and Dual SIM
Inside the smartphone stuck a snapdragon 865 and 8 GB RAM, the 128 GB Falling Flash can expand via microSD card. Alternatively, the Xperia 5 II absorbs a second SIM card – unlike the Xperia 1 II, which is only one as a single SIM variant in this country. Against water and dust it is protected according to IP65 / 68. Xperia 5 II should reach trade in the colors black, gray and blue in the fourth quarter, at a price of 900 euros.
